Great place to eat

We have been to Mudd Valley Cafe (upstairs inside Walnut Creek Cheese) several times during our stay in Amish country. The food is very good - our favorites have been the Reuben, chicken salad sandwich and smoked Mac n cheese. Prices are also reasonable. Don’t forget to get some of their delicious ice cream downstairs. 4 scoops for a small size! 😀

Haystacks are pretty good, burger and sandwiches are average. But the service is ridiculously slow, at lunch it takes 20min to order. Staff has zero sense of urgency.

Very good sandwich shop. Had the rueben and it was perfect. Added the broccoli cheddar soup and it was delicious. Will go back and try their burgers next time.

Their "Stack" was really good. I had the Southwestern offering to which I added extra toppings. The base was lime infused rice with taco seasoned ground beef and layers of baked beans, lettuce, corn salsa, cheese, and topped with crumbled corn chips.

This a a place I didn't visit while at Amish Farm.The reviews are exceexcellent. I want to go there next time.

Cool place, good lunch

Not a creamery. Not even close. This is basically an ice cream counter in a supermarket. I could not have been more disappointed.

Haystacks are delicious! Sundaes & ice cream is amazing! Staff is awesome!

Delicious ice-cream and good sandwiches. Clean and nice atmosphere; plenty of room to spread out. They need to bring back the key lime pie frozen yogurt! Recommend the grilled chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. I did not like the sauce served with the fries. It tasted like strong butter but in a bad way. Overall a good place to eat if you want to skip the bland buffets of the Amish country.

Went here when we couldntfind our original diner. Pleasantly surprised. We enjoyed our meal very much

We found this cafe on our last day there and was sad because the food is awesome . The taco stack bowl and cheeseburgers are awesome . Can't wait to go back in the fall.

Great fresh burgers with all the toppings you can add... plus an awesome kids meal with a huge fruit cup.

This creamery and cafe are inside Walnut Creek cheese. Their ice creams have a decent size variety of flavors and some are even homemade. My wife doesn’t normally crave ice cream but loves stopping here. Today we choose to share the banana split. Though we did not eat at the café today we have before and it was good. If you’re in the area this stop us would be definitely worth it.😇

You may not expect much from a cafe above a grocery store, but they had GREAT food and quite a bit to choose from. They have what they call stacks, which are like burrito bowls and it was so good and a huge portion. My husband had a burger which also tasted awesome! We would def eat there again. Great place!

It is always a pleasure to visit Mudd Valley Cafe. They have great sandwiches and other food at good prices. On Tuesday they have free coffee and donuts from 8 - 10.
